A prestigious lithographic print produced from the same matrix (stone) as the print mentioned above. The color palette is muted—beige, with a black, textured silhouette of coral and a pronounced shadow.
In every odd-numbered print, the shadow carries a subtle red tint, while in every even-numbered print, it appears without any red tone.
Through this print and its conservative color scheme, I sought to express my vision of the consequences of the Industrial Revolution. For this reason, it bears the title Threshold 1760–1770, referring to the early period of the Industrial Revolution.
Both prints thus share a common narrative context.

Litography, number of copies 50, 2026
70 x 50 cm
A lithographic print on offset paper—a blend of cotton and cellulose. The primary expressive element of this print is the interplay of color gradation.
The main motif is a bleaching coral depicted as a stylized silhouette, beginning at the bottom in coral red and gradually fading to white as it rises. In contrast, the background at the top starts in red, symbolizing high temperature—one of the central themes of the 21st century: climate change.
As the composition moves deeper, the palette becomes cooler, evoking the depths of the ocean. In the lower section, it transitions into a beige-brown tone symbolizing the seabed.
“Cause and Effect” refers to the causality of the phenomenon of coral bleaching driven by rising ocean temperatures.
